Data and Resources
To help you attack this challenge Independence Blue Cross has provided the following tools for you to use.
Optional Data – Submitted applications may use one or more of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) datasets within their application.
Additional Resources - To further aide your development you may want to consider utilizing tools such as IBX Wire, a tool that allows users to receive HIPAA compliant text messages from applications. Check out the documentation for IBX Wire.
Validic API & Track
The Validic API is designed to enable one simple connection between healthcare companies and digital health applications, wearables and devices. Each activity and measurement is standardized, and includes a timestamp and a source note about which device or app was used to catalog the activity or measurement. This will enable you to quickly integrate patient monitoring data into your solution and greatly accelerate the development.
The team that has the best use of Validic API to solve the challenge goals will receive an additional US$5,000 in API credits. Check out developer challenge support page here: Challenge Support. To get started now and to gain valuable Validic API please fill out this form: Validic API Hackathon Access.
